We “Okay, so tell me again, why am I here?” Mianae Grimm ask her face not covered skull illusion which made Frank notice under the terrifying disguise she was rather pretty and enchanting, long brunette hair with deep royal purple eyes and a stare that could’ve turned Medusa to stone, a blank expression which only highlighted the scattered freckles across her winter snow skin. Clovefield scratches her head in frustration as Frank concedes to flatter her ego, “enough either you’re helping or you’re not” she shouts echoing the room, Frank stares on nervously from the explosive reaction waiting on Mianae Grimm to respond as the room falls silent “well if that’s the end of it then good luck to you on…whatever it is you need help with” she gets up heading towards the door but with a swift motion Frank leaps up blocking her from exiting “Nope, not happening. This is non-sense, what is going to happen is you’re going to sit down, Clovefield you will be cooperative all the while I’m going to go order this pizza so we can all sit down, shut-up and figure this out! His unexpected and raspy anger in his voice made the girls follow his command. Frank takes his phone, walking out of the room as it begins to ring, leaving Clovefield and Mianae Gimm to deal with their issues without interference.

As they sat there Mianae Grimm soaks in the awkwardness with delight in her eyes at Clovefield’s dismay. It’s not too long into the minute that Mianae Grimm’s facial falls to disappointment with the blank stare of Clovefield’s dark clay eyes casting a burning intolerance for her, she darts her eyes down toward the books on the table, “Ah, looking to dream link?”, “Dream-ah, what?”Clovefield’s face dancing in a rollercoaster of emotion. “you know, Dreamlink. Quite know as dream-walking.” Mianae Frimm huffs, “you know things in the realm of Freddy Kruger.” Her words drag on as the visible red flourish in Clovefield’s gave way to her annoyance. “You helping or not?”, she sat back with a smug grin on her face, arms crossed “Well, well, well….I couldn’t have ever imagined the day Clovefield would need my help. Well, I should give you hell, but I’m happy today,” she says, it looked surreal, it had been a while since Clovefield had seen Mianae Grimm smile like that. “Though my help doesn’t come without a caveat” the request solidified by their shared silence, Clovefield and Frank exchange glances Frank hums in curiosity to her request “I’m going to need to call Sam” the gears in their minds turning their tongues frozen as their throat dries. “uh-Ummm, Sam?….like Sam. H, Sam. E or Sam. ?”, “No sammie Burvile not to be confused with Berkeley”, Clovefield crosses her arms “why?”, “well if I have to say her abilities to amplify have grown” Clovefield nods her head to Mianae Grimm’s story, she sighs then interlaces her fingers behind her head.

After a few hours of Chatting and various discussions, a knock comes at the door followed by the rhythmic ringing of the doorbell. “Please tell me this is the delivery guy, I’m starved”.  Mianae Grimm’s pale skin looked sickly even more so than normal, her stomach almost roars over her “geez, grim you sure you’re waiting on food and not the whole damn table?” his joke flatlines the thin layer of silence that followed broken by the sharp loudness of Sammie’s voice “So this is your house? Who knew Clovefield lived in the house at the east in of the roundabout.” Her sneakers can be heard moving around as Clovefield and Sammie small talk. She creeps her way into the living room, her sight bounces around finally landing “Hey Mia!”, “Mia?” Frank repeats in disbelief, raising his eyebrow to this news worth information “wait…” he says as sammie walks over to Mianae Grimm, her neon green and jet black hair with her square-shaped glasses, a light fall hoodie with tights and ankle-high sneakers on. She smiled showcasing her mouth shining from the metal of braces and takes a seat next to her as Bee slowly waddles over to her and jumps in her lap, padding at her before walking in between both of them, making herself comfortable causing both Mianae Grimm and Sammie to share in a laugh. They collide as they hug and Sammie proceeds to lay her head on Mianae Grimm’s shoulder.

“Wow, sneaky Mianae Grimm. Plotting us to bring Sammie over so that you too could have a little personal time”, “What? no, not only is that disrespectful to Clovie but if I wanted personal time we could always just leave and go to my house” her sharp tone, strikes him pretty deep as he barely keeps eye contact for a few moments, Mianae Grimm waves her hand at Clovefield “now, please Clovie explain further about what this plan is and what you need from me”, “well…” Mianae Grimm interrupts him, an elegant single pale index finger rises to stop Franks flow of words “no silver tongue, I want her, the girl right next to you to tell me” She huffs with a sigh then moves to the floor, clearing her throat “fine, that’s literally why I invited you over here anyway. It’s about my dad”, “Mr.C?” Clovefield nods as her afro blowing in the wind. “I had a dream about him the other night but the energy he gave off”, “Dream-walking?” Sammie’s curiosity was peaked, “So, you want me to do….”Mianae Grimm says as her gaze switches back and forth in the room, “Well it’s simple Mia, Clovefield has lightning abilities, you are technically a form of telepath…you remember in Mr.tulscan’s class..” Sammie’s voice falls to the wayside say the doorbell rings again, Clovefield answers as her sight hits the delivery boy she immediately thought something was off. He didn’t look like your average delivery person and by that, as meant like a citizen, he was too sculpted, too manly, too professional and as he raised his arm handing her the boxes she could see a half-covered tattoo, but the part she could make out was of a pair of goat legs with black blood dripping down. It was there clear as day.
